How does the waste collection service work?

When you join CPC Services, you will receive introduction training and be provided with a starter pack. This will include a Waste Transfer Note Pad and a Consignment Note Pad (if applicable).

Prior to your pre-arranged scheduled collection, you will need to complete in full the required paperwork (waste transfer note or/and consignment note) and this is to be left out in an accessible, pre arranged area for our driver.

At the time of collection your driver will check the paperwork against the volumes to be collected. If there are any discrepancies with volumes of waste our driver will amend the paperwork as required. They will then sign the paperwork and leave you the top white copies for your records.

All paperwork must be signed prior to our drivers arrival. If the paperwork is not signed, and no one is on site to sign the paperwork, our drivers are not permitted to make the collection.

What waste will be collected on my schedule collection?

What waste CPC collects will be dependant on what waste collection paperwork is left out for the driver.

If a completed and signed Waste Transfer Note is left out for the driver, all non-hazardous waste stored at the waste collection point will be collected.

If a completed and signed Consignment Note is left out for the driver, all hazardous waste stored at the waste collection point will be collected.

I am a phone-up customer. How do I arrange a collection?

To schedule a collection please telephone our Client Services Team 48 working hours in advance of your scheduled collection day.

What happens if I forget to leave my waste collection paperwork out for the driver?

Both parties, the waste producer and the waste contractor, have a legal responsibility to comply with Duty of Care, and Hazardous Waste Regulations 2005.

As the waste producer, it is your Duty of Care to ensure that the correct waste collection paperwork is supplied to accompany the transfer of waste, and that the paperwork is completed fully and accurately.

As your waste contractor, CPC is unable to remove waste without the correct and completed waste collection paperwork, since doing so would constitute an offence.

I have an extra large cadaver that requires collection. What do I need to do?

If your client has a dog over 40kg, you must inform our Client Services Team prior to collection. This can be done either by calling our Client Services Team directly on 01763 207750 or by emailing support@cpccares.com

When advising our team, please ensure that you are able to provide the breed regardless of cremation path.

Failure to notify CPC of an XL Dog, can result in delayed collections as the driver may not necessarily have the correct lifting equipment to enable a safe collection.

If there is a team member available to help with any XL dog collections, this is always appreciated, but notification still must be made to CPC.

As with the current XL Dog Process, all XL Dogs must be removed from the freezer prior to collection from CPC.  Our drivers are not permitted to remove XL Dogs from enclosed freezers storage to avoid injury.

Our CPC XL Dog Sticker is available to order here

I need to arrange an additional collection?

If you need to arrange an extra collection please telephone our Client Services Team on 01763 207750. We endeavour to meet all additional collection requests within 48 working hours.

Please note this service is subject to driver availability and subject to additional fees

I would like to cancel my scheduled collection?

If you have an upcoming collection and feel that this is not required then please contact our Client Services Team by telephoning 01763 207750 or by emailing support@cpccares.com* who will then be able to cancel your scheduled collection.

*Please note that notice provided outside of working hours will not be acknowledged until the following working day, so please do provide as much notice as possible to ensure your collection can be cancelled in time.

I do not wish to have my Hazardous Waste collected during my scheduled collection?

Under the Hazardous Waste Regulations, CPC is unable to remove hazardous waste without a Consignment Note, since doing so would constitute an offence.

If you do not wish to have your hazardous waste collected during your scheduled collection, please do not leave out a signed copy of a Consignment Note (as supplied by CPC in advance of your scheduled collections).
